Terms and Conditions of Sale

Effective Date: January 8, 2026

1. Order Approval & Production

Design Proofing: We will provide a digital proof for every custom order. It is the customer's responsibility to review the proof for accuracy in spelling, colors, garment sizes, and design placement.
Approval Finality: Once a proof is approved, production begins. We are not responsible for errors that were present on an approved proof.
Production Time: Standard production typically takes [4-7] business days after final approval and payment. This time does not include shipping (if required).

2. Intellectual Property & Art Rights

Customer Ownership: By submitting artwork, you warrant that you own the rights to the design or have legal permission to use it.
Indemnification: The customer agrees to hold Lyssies Bowtique harmless from any claims or legal fees arising from copyright or trademark infringement related to the artwork provided.
Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse orders containing content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates our [Content Standards/Community Guidelines].

3. Payment Terms

Payment Requirement: Full payment is required before production begins, unless arrangements are made to the contrary with Lyssies Bowtique.
Pricing: All prices are subject to change until an order is confirmed and paid. Taxes and shipping fees are calculated at checkout.

4. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Custom Goods Policy: Due to the personalized nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind," incorrect sizing choices, or minor color variations.
Defects and Errors: If we make a material error (e.g., wrong design, defective garment, or significant misplacement), you must notify us within [2] days of delivery to receive a replacement or refund.
Cancellations: Orders may only be canceled within [24] hours of placement. If production has already started or materials have been ordered, a restocking or processing fee of [20]% may apply.

5. Variations and Tolerances

Color Matching: While we strive for accuracy, on-screen colors may differ from actual ink colors due to monitor calibrations. We cannot guarantee 100% color matching.
Spoilage: In bulk orders, a spoilage rate of [1–3]% is industry standard. We will refund or credit any misprinted items that exceed this percentage.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lyssies Bowtique is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost profits or missed event deadlines) resulting from delays in production or shipping.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Missouri. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Scott County, MO.
